Öckerö municipality has approximately 13,000 residents and employs around 1,100 people. Together, we live and work in a municipality consisting of ten inhabited islands.

The Facilities Group consists of a great team of 6 people based in the Prästängen area, where we also have our lunch facilities, storage, and machinery.

The group maintains and services swimming areas, Prästängen's football fields, the ice rink, and playgrounds. We are responsible for paths and various types of green areas.

The position involves varying working hours throughout the year. From week 39 to week 15, we work evenings and/or weekends every third week according to a schedule. During the rest of the year, daytime work is applicable.

We are looking for an engaged and service-oriented employee for the Facilities Unit. In this role, you will be an important part of our team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and service of the municipality's facilities and outdoor environments. You will work with the care and maintenance of swimming areas, Prästängen's football fields, the ice rink, playgrounds, paths, and various green areas. The tasks are varied and practical, and you will contribute to keeping our environments safe, functional, and attractive for everyone.

We place great importance on experience and practical ability – especially regarding carpentry. You should have good experience in carpentry work and feel comfortable with tools and materials. The work involves ongoing construction and repair tasks, adjustments, and improvements in our facilities. Your experience contributes to the work being carried out safely, efficiently, and with good results.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in carpentry, as well as the practical ability to independently perform carpentry work.
• A humble and positive attitude, where you take responsibility and collaborate well with both colleagues and visitors.
• A valid driver's license (B).
